Please Welcome Salman Mubarak - Country Chair to Pakistan

Salman Mubarak joined Rotary in 1999 and is a charter President ofthe Rotary Club of Multan Cantt (Chartered in 2001). Salman has served as Assistant Country Chair RAG for Population and Development (2012-15). Over the years Salman has served at different positions; Assistant Governor in 2005 and District Chair for Avoidable Blindness for many years. He is a Life member of RAG for Avoidable Blindness since 2010. His passion is Avoidable Blindness and has been involved in 3 Matching Grants Projects and has been instrumental in completing many projects, including a project Gift of Life sponsoring Paeds Cardiac Surgery in India. His classification is Portfolio Management and has a graduation in Political Science and Sociology from B.Z.Univeristy, Multan, Punjab, Pakistan.

Salman's spouse, Dr. Bushra Maryam has 18 years of working experience as a Gynecologist and has working experience of looking after the Gynae and Obs ward at a local charity hospital. She has passionate interest in diagnostics radiology and currently working as Post Graduate (MCPS) trainee in Radiology Department at Nishtar Hospital, Multan. Salman and Bushra are Major Doners and also life members of RAG for Population and Development. They have been happily married for 21 years and have 2 sons Mustafa and Mujtaba aged 19 & 18 and 2 daughters Mahsaim and Mahveen aged 15 & 10. Both Bushra and Salman enjoy reading and traveling and love social and charity work.

On March 15, 2016, Salman graciously agreed to step into the role and serve as Country Chair to Pakistan for the Rotarian Action Group for Population and Development. Please help us welcome Salman to the family.
